Pirated HD version of ‘Game Changer’ aired on local cable channel in Andhra Pradesh, suspect arrested
The channel’s representative, Appala Raju, was arrested, and an FIR was filed against him.
Hyderabad: A pirated HD version of Ram Charan’s Game Changer was aired on a local cable channel, AP Local TV, in Andhra Pradesh two days ago, causing outrage among netizens. Tollywood producer SKN also expressed his dissatisfaction over the illegal broadcast.
In response to the complaints, H.V. Chalapathi Raju, Managing Director of M/S Copyright Safety Systems, along with his team, raided the cable channel with the help of Gajuwaka Police and the Crime Clues Team from Visakhapatnam Commissionerate District.
During the operation, police seized all equipment used for piracy. The channel’s representative, Appala Raju, was arrested, and an FIR was filed against him.
Game Changer, directed by Shankar, stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and Anjali in lead roles, with SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, Samuthirakani, and Brahmanandam in supporting roles.
