Plastic drums in defunct cement plant gutted in Mancherial
Fire department officials reported that a fire engine, along with six firefighters from the Mancherial fire station, successfully extinguished the blaze at the plant after a 20-minute effort. They added that the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Mancherial: Around 25 plastic drums used in a gobar gas plant were gutted when fire broke out in the defunct Mancherial Cement Company (MCC) plant here on Friday. The cause of the fire is not known. The value of property damage was assessed to be Rs 25,000.
Officials of the fire department said that a fire engine and six fighters from Mancherial fire station doused the flames at the plant by fighting for 20 minutes. They stated that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained. A voluntary organisation supplies the eco-friendly gas to the cement plant which was closed a few years back.
