Hyderabad: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met popular actors, sports personalities and business leaders at the ‘What India Thinks Today’ conclave on Friday, March 28.

Actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh and Jim Sarbh, along with India national badminton team’s Chief National Coach Pullela Gopichand, businessman Jupally Rameshwar Rao and TV9 MD and CEO Barun Das, attended the event.


PM Modi spoke about India’s transformation over the past decade, emphasising the country’s journey from dependence to self-reliance. He stated that a developed India by 2047 is possible through collective effort.

Vijay Deverakonda shared his experience in the film industry and discussed about his upcoming projects. The teaser of his upcoming film “Kingdom” was screened at the event and received an overwhelming response.

Yami Gautam spoke about the global impact of cinema and how storytelling connects with politics. She also discussed about her film Article 370 and the challenges of playing complex roles.

The conclave brought together influential figures from different fields, providing a platform for discussions on India’s growth, cinema and leadership.
