Police Commissionerates mark Telangana State Formation Day
Telangana State Formation Day was celebrated across the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Future City Police Commissionerates. Senior police officials hoisted the National Flag, paid tribute to Telangana martyrs and highlighted achievements in policing, technology adoption and public service.

Hyderabad: State Formation Day was celebrated across the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Future City Police Commissionerates on Tuesday.
In Hyderabad, Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar unfurled the National Flag at the City Armed Reserve Headquarters and paid tribute to Telangana martyrs.
Highlighting key achievements, he said Hyderabad Police had introduced AI-powered initiatives such as ‘C-Mitra’, ‘AI Cop-Writer’ and ‘SOC-EYE’, and strengthened cybercrime and anti-drug enforcement.
At the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate parade grounds, Police Commissioner M Ramesh, who hoisted the flag, stressed that the police play a vital role in the State’s development by ensuring safety and security. He noted that Cyberabad continues to be one of the country’s fastest-growing regions and praised the contribution of police personnel to maintaining a conducive environment for growth and investment.
Meanwhile, Future City Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi, during the celebrations, called upon officers and staff to uphold discipline, dedication and commitment to public service.
A similar event was organised at the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate.
Service medals were also presented to deserving police personnel during the celebrations.
