Medak: Former Medak MLA M Padma Devendar Reddy accused the Medak police of acting against the BRS cadre and leaders following the directions of Congress MLA Mynampally Rohit Rao.

The former MLA met BRS social media warrior Mekala Narsing Rao, whom the police took into custody and beat him black and blue for objecting to derogatory comments made by Rohit Rao on social media platforms.

She said the police shot a video of beating Narsing Rao and shared it with Rohit Rao. She also said the police had filed complaints against multiple BRS cadres across the constituency at the behest of Rohit Rao and his father Hanumantha Rao.
