Medak: Chegunta Police helped a pregnant woman reach her home safely by offering a ride in Sub-inspector of Police’s vehicle in Medak district on Saturday. Anusha, who is in her 9 month of pregnancy, from Karnampally village in Chegunta Mandal, had arrived at a private nursing home on Saturday early morning for her monthly check up. As she took an auto to reach her home, the auto driver, who saw the police checking the vehicles at 2pm at Chinna Shankarampet road, asked all the passengers to get down from his vehicle and fled from the place. Sub-Inspector of Police Gouse Pasha, who reached the place, took the woman in his vehicle after knowing about her problem. Thanking the police for their gesture, Anusha said that they used to fear the police, but they cleared all their doubts with their kind act.
