Police officer, wife killed in accident in Hyderabad
According to the police, Laxman, 39, and Jhansi, 34, were killed on the spot after the car driven by Jhansi, in which they were coming from Suryapet towards Hyderabad, crashed into a parked lorry.
Hyderabad: The Sultan Bazaar additional inspector, S. Laxman, and his wife Jhansi, were killed in an accident in the early hours of Saturday at Abdullapurmet on the National Highway 65.
According to the police, Laxman, 39, and Jhansi, 34, were killed on the spot after the car driven by Jhansi, in which they were coming from Suryapet towards Hyderabad, crashed into a parked lorry from behind near the Karthika Homes road on NH-65 in the Abdullapurmet police station limits around 1.15 am.
The couple’s seven-year-old son survived the accident without injuries, police said, adding that the bodies were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
