Hyderabad: Many weekend revelers from the city making their way to the recently popular Antharaganga waterfalls, nestled in the hills near the village Kawadipally, were being turned away since last Saturday.

For a week now, police have been stopping people from entering the falls terming it as a risky place.

“The area becomes slippery during monsoon. There have been cases where some tourists were injured. We were informed of people crowding, and a team has been deployed to check and ask the people to leave,” the police said.

Being one of the nearest waterfalls to Hyderabad, Antharaganga turned into an attraction for many. Many people were planning a trip here, especially on weekends.
