Police save life of youngster in Telangana’s Adilabad
After tracing Mohammad Faizal to an irrigation project near Vaddadi village, police reach the spot and foil his suicide bid
Adilabad: Police won laurels for saving life of a youngster who threatened to die by suicide following some family disputes at Ravindranagar here on Friday.
Mohammad Faizal sent a selfie video to his father stating that he would commit suicide and turned off his mobile phone on Thursday night. His father sought help of Adilabad police, who in turn launched a search to trace Faizal. They could find signals from his mobile phone at an irrigation project near Vaddadi village in Tamsi mandal.
The police immediately alerted Blue Colts team and Dial 100. They were undeterred by heavy rains that hampered the search operation for a while. They, however, managed to find Faizal at the project and foiled his suicide bid at midnight. They handed over the youngster to his father and counselled his family members. Faizal’s parents thanked the police for saving their son’s life.
