Policeman among five caught using Cannabis at hotel in Gachibowli

The EAGLE Force caught five persons, including a policeman, for consuming ganja at a hotel in Gachibowli. Four were classmates celebrating a reunion, and one a friend. Drug tests confirmed cannabis use, and a case is registered at Gachibowli Police Station.

Hyderabad: Five persons, including a policeman working in CAR headquarters, were caught by the EAGLE Force for allegedly consuming ganja in Gachibowli.

On specific information, the EAGLE Force team raided a hotel at Gachibowli on Tuesday night. The police found seven people, and a drug test was conducted on them.

Five of them, Meghender (29), Tejeshwar (28), Sai Prasad (28), Ramesh (27) and T Ravi (27) tested positive for cannabis.

“Four of the five people are classmates and had gathered for a reunion in the room of hotel room. The other person is their common friend. All of them had consumed the ganja a day earlier,” said an official of EAGLE Force.

A case is registered against them at Gachibowli police station.
