Hyderabad: Insurance marketplace Policybazaar has launched its new group health insurance programme for MSMEs and large corporates. It will use technology to provide flexible offerings that are customised for companies based on their size, location (spread), competition and need.
“The one-size-fits-all approach cannot work anymore since businesses, their operations and their wallets are different and complex”, said Sarbvir Singh, CEO, Policybazaar.
Policybazaar has introduced flexi-benefit plans and 27 non-hospitalisation features like diagnostics, online doctor consultation, nutrition, second-opinion services, mental wellness, and training options like yoga and personal training via an app.
The platform has a self-service section that helps employees to understand the cover their employer has provided. It also has a claim processing section where an individual can launch a claim, find a hospital and decipher the overall expense that may arise.
Policybazaar gets close to 30,000 enquiries every month to buy group health insurance. Corporates can cover their employees starting from Rs 100 per month without compromising on the basic benefits, a release said.
