Poor response to Group-III test in Kothagudem as 46.83 percent candidates skip exam

Kothagudem: The candidates who applied for group-3 posts seem to have taken the examinations conducted for the posts by Telangana State Public Service Commission lightly if the attendance percent is any indication.
About 46.83 percent candidates from the district skipped the exam conducted in three sessions on Sunday and Monday in Kothagudem district. Only 53.17 percent of candidates appeared for the group-3 test. Of the 13, 478 candidates 7, 166 candidates turned up at exam halls.
The district Collector Jitesh V Patil said the district administration made elaborate arrangements for the exam that passed off peacefully. The test was conducted at 39 centres in Kothagudem and Paloncha towns. Khammam officials have not revealed the attendance details of the test.
