Hyderabad: Power House Taekwondo Academy (PHTA) has recorded a historic and record-breaking performance at the 14th Telangana Open State Level Inter-Schools Taekwondo Championship 2026, with its young athletes showcasing exceptional talent, discipline, and determination.
The academy’s “Little Champs” secured an outstanding haul of 9 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 6 bronze medals, making it the best performance in the academy’s history.
In a remarkable achievement, 16 out of 19 participants from the academy finished on the podium, turning the event into a grand celebration for students, parents, and coaches alike.
The championship witnessed intense competition from top schools and academies across the state, with PHTA athletes excelling in both Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (forms) categories.
Speaking on the occasion, founders Aravind Nandyala and Suresh Boya—World Taekwondo Global members and National Poomsae and Kyorugi referees—congratulated all the winners and appreciated every participant for their dedication and fighting spirit.
They emphasised that each student’s effort played a vital role in achieving this milestone.
Reiterating their vision of producing national champions, the founders stated that the academy remains committed to fostering discipline, consistency, and excellence among its trainees. A special success meet will be organized shortly to celebrate the achievement.
