Rajanna-Sircilla: Co-operative Electric Supply Society (CESS) has disconnected power supply to Sircilla municipal office due to pending bills. Municipality has to pay the pending bills of Rs 4,58,90,749.

In this regard, CESS officials had already served notices twice in December last year and in this month. As there was no response from the municipal authorities, CESS officials disconnected electricity supply on Friday.


As a result, darkness wore on the municipal office. While computer and internet services come to a standstill, officials and employees of various sections are working in darkness.
