Warangal Urban: Stating that the TRS government was committed to resolve all the issues of government employees, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said on Wednesday that the pay hike would be as per the expectations of employees, and that the hike would be one or two per cent more than that of employees in neighbouring states.
He said the implementation of the PRC would be taken up after completion of MLC elections.
Addressing a press conference along with State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Boinpally Vinod Kumar and Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar here on Wednesday, Rao has urged the graduate voters not to be carried away by the parties that shower love only for the votes.
Taking strong exception to the comments made by some Opposition leaders that the TRS government will be toppled after the election, Rao said: “These comments are absurd. Is it possible to topple a government by just winning two MLC seats? They have to answer how they will dethrone a government that has absolute majority,” he asked.
Taking a dig at BJP leaders, Rao said that those who were unable to get the coach factory sanctioned were making nonsensical comments on the TRS government and added that the TRS government was enjoying complete support of the people.
Vinod Kumar said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was fully aware of the problems of the employees during the Telangana movement, and he was positive towards resolving their grievances. “Both the Prime Minister and Union Finance Minister have stated in Parliament that Telangana was on the path of development,” he said. “While the TRS government is positive about addressing employees’ issues, some people are making false propaganda to mislead the employees with an eye on the MLC election,” he said and added that the PRC would be announced after the election code comes to an end.
