Pregnant woman ferried across rivulet in earthmover to reach hospital
A pregnant woman from Vaddilingapur village in Telangana's Raikal mandal was transported across a flooded rivulet in an earthmover after labour pains began on Thursday. The family’s attempt to reach Jagtial hospital was hindered as the stream between Bhupathipur and Ramojipet was overflowing.

Jagtial: A pregnant woman, Guglawath Kalyani, had to be shifted across an overflowing rivulet in an earthmover in Raikal mandal on Thursday.
Kalyani developed labour pains and her family members tried to take her to hospital in Jagtial. However, their attempt was stalled as the local stream between Bhupathipur and Ramojipet was in spate.
With no option left, local residents stepped in and helped the woman and her family cross the rivulet using an earthmover. Kalyani hails from Vaddelingapur village in Raikal mandal.
