Hyderabad: A 28-year-old pregnant woman died, allegedly by suicide, in her house at Moosa Bowli in Charminar here late on Thursday. Her family alleged she ended her life due to harassment from her husband and in-laws.
According to the police, the victim B.Pushpa, was married to Raju, a driver and was five months pregnant. She was allegedly being harassed by her husband and in-laws for quite some time now.
She is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan with a dupatta in her bedroom. The Charminar police have booked a case and are investigating.
