Khammam: Khammam police have imposed restrictions on cine goers in Khammam city in the wake of release of Ram Charan-starrer, Game Changer, on Friday.
In a statement here on Thursday, town ACP SV Ramana Moorthy said that no one should come to the movie theatres without online tickets for the extra show (benefit show) of the movie at 4 am in select theatres on Friday.
In view of the recent incident of stampede at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad, as part of the preventive measures, people without tickets would not be allowed into the vicinity of the theatres and there was a ban on bursting fireworks at the theatres, the ACP said.
Moorthy appealed to the public and Ram Charan fans to cooperate with the police to maintain a peaceful atmosphere at the theatres where the movie would be screened. Legal action would be taken if anyone violates the rules, he warned.
