Hyderabad: Relatives and friends of a junior artist, Jyothi Reddy, who was found with injuries on a railway track at Shadnagar and succumbed to her injuries in hospital, have demanded a proper investigation into her death.
Jyothi, a native of Kapada district in Andhra Pradesh, was found with injuries on the railway track at Shadnagar on Tuesday morning. The police shifted her to Osmania General Hospital for treatment and later she was shifted to a private hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Her relatives and friends staged a protest in front of the hospital demanding the police conduct a thorough investigation into her death.
The Chaderghat police rushed to the spot and shifted the agitators to the police station. The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary.
