Prof. Kishen Kumar Reddy appointed as Vice Chancellor of JNTU-Hyderabad for three years
An order to this effect has been issued by Higher Education department secretary Dr. Yogita Rana. Prof. Reddy has been given a three year tenure from the date of his appointment
Hyderabad: Prof. T Kishen Kumar Reddy today assumed charge as the Vice Chancellor of JNTU – Hyderabad and held a preliminary review meeting on the status of various departments and future developmental plans.
The meeting was attended by Rector Dr. K Vijayakumar Reddy, Registrar Dr. K Venkateswara Rao, Directors of various departments, and principals of affiliated colleges met apart from Dr. TGCHE Chairman Prof. V Balakista Reddy.
The State government appointed Prof. T Kishen Kumar Reddy as Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad.
An order to this effect has been issued by Higher Education department secretary Dr. Yogita Rana. Prof. Reddy has been given a three year tenure from the date of his appointment.
Earlier, he worked as a professor in the Mechanical Engineering department. He also served as the Director Affiliation and Academic Audit Cell, JNTU-Hyderabad between 2009 and 2012, and Rector JNTU-Hyderabad between 2014-16. Later he retired from the university.
He had served as Vice Chancellor, PDP(E)U, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and former VC, GIETU, Gunupur, Odisha.
