Prof Rajesh Kumar appointed convenor for TG CET 2026
Prof Rajesh Kumar of Osmania University has been appointed convenor for TG CET 2026. The Telangana Council of Higher Education named convenors from JNTUH, Kakatiya University, Mahatma Gandhi University and Osmania University to oversee computer-based tests for admissions in 2026-27
Hyderabad: Prof Rajesh Kumar, Professor of Physical Education, Osmania University, was appointed as one of the convenors of the TG CET on Monday.
He is also an active member of the State Athletics Association and has been involved in organising various State, National and international events in Telangana over the last three decades.
The Chairman of Telangana Council of Higher Education appointed the convenors in consultation with the Vice-Chancellors of the concerned universities to conduct computer-based tests of TG Common Entrance Tests (TGCETs-2026) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The others appointed as convenors include Prof K Vijaya Kumar Reddy of JNTUH, Prof B Venkatram Reddy of Kakatiya University, Prof Aluvala Ravi of Mahatma Gandhi University, Prof P Chandra Sekhar of Osmania University, Prof B Vijayalaxmi of Osmania University, and Prof K Venkateswara Rao of JNTUH.
