Hyderabad: Prof. S. M. Rahmatullah, Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, was appointed as the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, on September 9.
Prof Rahmatullah is the senior most Professor of MANUU and has 39 years of teaching and research experience. He served in different capacities at MANUU including as Finance Officer I/c, Dean (Satellite Campuses), Head (Dept. of Public Administration & Pol. Science) and was also a member of the Finance Committee, Executive Council and Academic Council of MANUU. He also served as the Vice-Chancellor Incharge of MANUU from July 31, 2020 to July 28, 2021.
