The protest by MANUU students demanding the restoration of students’ union elections entered its third day in Hyderabad. Students alleged warnings from the administration but continued peaceful demonstrations, insisting on immediate notification of elections and support from other schools

Maulana Azad National Urdu University will organise a two-day national workshop for distance and online education officials on January 12 and 13. The event will focus on policy reforms, coordination and implementation of the National Education Policy 2020.

The MANUU Students Collective demanded that the university administration submit and publicly share a detailed project report on land use, infrastructure and hostels, amid reports of visits by Revenue and district officials over the land resumption issue

MANUU–ITI Hyderabad is conducting second phase counselling for vacant seats in ITI trades. Last date to apply is August 18, with counselling scheduled for August 20 at Gachibowli campus. Application forms are available online and at the ITI office.

The University had on January 2, 2024, signed a MoU with Yunus Emre Institute, Turkey, for a period of five years, under which a diploma in Turkish language was started at the School of Languages, Linguistics & Indology

Admissions open for students who studied Urdu at 10th or 12th level

Admissions for MBA programme and  M.Com courses are in process at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in Hyderabad 

Speaking at the protest, MANUU research scholar Talha Mannan stated that the UP CM’s anti-Urdu remarks should not be viewed in isolation. "They reflect a deeply rooted anti-Muslim sentiment," he said.

The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) would soon expand its campus and start new courses for women at Urdu Hall, Himayat Nagar, said Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor MANUU.

The first priority for admission will be for applicants who have appeared in CUET. Students are requested to enter their mobile number and email while submitting the application on which information and notifications will be sent to them.

Organized in association with the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, with support from MANUU, the free event will be held at the DDE Auditorium, MANUU.

The option for editing form will be open on July 31 and August 1. Earlier, the last date to apply at MANUU was July 24.
