Hyderabad: A man was murdered, allegedly by his brother, over a property dispute at Shaikpet in Golconda on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the victim, Vijay, had a dispute with his brother Narender alias Chinna for the last few years over their ancestral house. On Tuesday night, Narender met his brother near a liquor shop at Shaikpet. “An argument ensued between them during which Narender hit Vijay on the head with a rod,” S Chandrasekhar, SHO (Golconda) said, adding that Vijay collapsed on the road. A police patrol team shifted him to Osmania General Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The Golconda police registered a case and are making efforts to nab Narendar.
