Hyderabad: Puneri Paltan continued their dominance in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 with a 45-36 victory over Bengal Warriorz at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag on Wednesday.
The Paltan were led by the brilliance of skipper Aslam Inamdar, supported by Aditya Shinde and Vishal Bhardwaj, who secured a High Five. Together, they neutralised Devank Dalal’s 17-point effort for the Warriorz.
Puneri Paltan got off to a confident start with sharp raiding from Aditya Shinde and Aslam Inamdar. Shinde struck repeatedly with successful raids that kept the Warriorz defence under constant pressure.
The highlight of the opening 10 minutes came from Aslam, who produced a Super Raid, dismissing defenders Nitesh Kumar and Parteek in one swift move. That raid tilted the momentum firmly in Paltan’s favour. Despite Devank’s resistance, Paltan closed the first phase of the half with a four-point lead, at 13-9.
The momentum swung back and forth in the second phase as both sides traded blows, highlighted by two crucial ALL OUTs. Puneri Paltan inflicted the first in the 9th minute, with Aslam producing a brilliant tackle on Devank to wipe the Warriorz clean.
