Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police have issued a lookout notice against YouTuber Anvesh, following a complaint filed by actress Karate Kalyani, alleging that he made objectionable remarks about Hindu deities in a video in the past.
A case was earlier registered at Panjagutta Police Station based on Kalyani’s complaint. She accused the YouTuber of using abusive and inappropriate language targeting Hindu gods, which sparked outrage among certain sections. As part of the investigation, authorities have now issued a lookout notice to trace Anvesh’s whereabouts. Police officials said further legal action will be taken depending on the progress of the probe.
Meanwhile, Anvesh recently released another video claiming that he operates two Instagram accounts and two YouTube channels. His Instagram account was reportedly blocked in recent days.
It is learnt that the police are also planning to write to Instagram and YouTube management, seeking details related to his accounts as part of the ongoing investigation.
Efforts are underway to secure his presence for questioning and to examine the digital evidence connected to the case.
