Pursue goals with committment, discipline: JNTUH Registrar Prof Jayalakshmi

JNTUH Registrar Prof Dr A Jayalakshmi urged graduates of BV Raju Institute of Technology to pursue their goals with commitment and discipline during the institution's 26th convocation, where 1,510 students received degrees and outstanding performers were honoured with awards and gold medals

Medak: Registrar of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), Prof Dr A Jayalakshmi called upon the graduating students to pursue their goals with commitment and discipline.

Addressing the students during the 26th convocation ceremony of BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), Narsapur, on Sunday, Prof Jayalakshmi said graduation marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance and dedication. Acknowledging the unwavering support of parents in every child’s career, she described them as the silent architects behind every student’s success and congratulated both the graduates and their families.

Vice-chairman of Sri Vishnu Educational Society, Ravichandran Rajagopal, advised the graduates to cultivate essential qualities such as capability, adaptability and transdisciplinarity for professional success. He appreciated the student entrepreneurs whom the society had supported through its growing startup ecosystem and assured the graduates that BVRIT would continue to support its alumni in their future professional endeavours.

Principal of BVRIT, Dr Sanjay Dubey, highlighted the institution’s achievements in campus placements, research publications and innovation. He welcomed the graduating students, formally declared the 26th Graduation Day open and administered the graduation pledge. During the ceremony, 1,510 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes were awarded their degrees.

The prestigious Padma Bhushan Dr BV Raju Memorial Award-2026 was presented to Gaddam Sai Likhith Kumar Reddy from the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The Best Outgoing Academic Award-2026 was conferred on Gopishetti Soumya from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Gold medals were presented to department toppers and outstanding students in recognition of their exceptional academic performance. Director of BVRIT K Lakshmi Prasad, Placement Officer Dr J Bangarraju, Chief Controller of Examinations Dr Kapula Prabhakara Rao and others were present.
