Sangareddy: Banners featuring the viral slogan “Rappa Rappa 3.0 loading” were prominently displayed during former Minister T Harish Rao’s protest meeting at Jinnaram on Saturday, sparking political debate among BRS cadres and farmers in attendance.
The banners, put up by BRS leader from Patancheru constituency Balagouni Saicharan Goud and his supporters, signalled a strong comeback narrative for the BRS ahead of the 2028 elections. Harish Rao was in Jinnaram to participate in a protest organised in support of farmers from the Patancheru constituency, who had been denied Rythu Bharosa assistance.
The phrase “Rappa Rappa,” popularised by actor Allu Arjun’s character in the hit film Pushpa 2, had already gone viral earlier this week after being featured on flexis by YSR Party supporters in Andhra Pradesh. The trend drew reactions from both the ruling TDP-Jana Sena alliance and YSR Party leaders, fuelling heated exchanges online and offline.
However, unlike his Andhra Pradesh counterparts, Harish Rao made no reference to the banners during his address. He simply reiterated that the BRS would return to power in 2028.
