Pushpa 2 premiere stampede: Young Sritej continues to remain in PICU, fighting for recovery

The doctors stated in the bulletin that Sritej's vital parameters are stable, and he is tolerating feeds well. However, he continues to experience intermittent fever spikes, with an altered sensorium and frequent dystonic movements. His neurological status is being closely monitored.

Hyderabad: Sritej, the young boy who was injured in a stampede during the premiere screening of Pushpa-2 movie at Sandhya theatre, RTC crossroads, continues to remain in PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) and on ventilator support, a health bulletin by Dr Chetan R Mundada and Dr Vishnu Tej Pudi from KIMS Cuddles, Secunderabad, on Sunday said.

“His vital parameters are stable, he is tolerating feeds well. He has intermittent fever spikes. His sensorium continues to be altered with frequent dystonic movements. We are closely monitoring his neurological status,” the doctors in the bulletin added.
