Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar has expressed confidence of winning 60 out of 60 municipal divisions in upcoming Khammam Municipal Corporation (KMC) elections.

He inaugurated central lighting system at modernised Moodubommala Centre in the three town area in Khammam during evening hours of Monday and addressed a public meeting. He said with the active support extended by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and IT, MA & UD Minister KT Rama Rao, Khammam was witnessing rapid development.

Once upon a time, the three town area lagged behind in terms of development in comparison to other areas. Now with the modernisation of Gollapadu Channel the entire area was transformed into a beautiful place of living, Ajay Kumar noted.

He accused opposition parties of trying to thwart Khammam development by false allegations. The development works would be taken forward unmindful of their ploys to hinder the works, he asserted.

The Minister informed that by Sankranthi the drinking water problem would fully be addressed in Khammam and a large complex of double bedroom houses consisting of 1150 houses would be inaugurated at Tekulapalli near Khammam.

Ajay Kumar urged the citizens in Khammam to stand by the TRS party so that the ongoing development works would be executed without any hindrance.
