Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar received accolades from the Chief Minister for working hard by utilising all the avenues available with him to ensure quality medical care for Covid patients in the district.
The Minister handed over the equipment to District Collector RV Karnan and DM&HO Dr. B Malathi at Telangana State Formation Day celebrations here on Wednesday. The oxygen concentrators have to be used for Covid patients at government hospitals in erstwhile Khammam district and those in home isolation and needing oxygen support, Ajay Kumar told the DM&HO.
The equipment would also be made available to those who had recovered from Covid yet needing oxygen support during post-Covid care at their homes, Ajay Kumar explained.
