After leading a peaceful life for a few years, disturbances arose in the family and the couple began quarrelling frequently. As the differences between the couple grew, Lalitha left her home along with her children and started staying at her parents’ home in Nizamabad.

Subsequently, the marital dispute reached the police station and the cops tried to mediate between them. However, while the police were giving counselling, Lalitha got up, removed ‘Thalibottu’ from her neck and ‘Mettelu’ (toe rings) and placed them on the table and said she did not want a husband or children and left the session midway. Later, her husband Ravi Kumar also walked away, leaving the children behind.

The helpless children, who were abandoned by their parents, stayed in the police station for a few hours. Moved by their plight, Sub-Inspector Anwar, handed them over to their grandmother.
