Hyderabad: ‘F3’ actor Raashii Khanna announced her own YouTube channel on Sunday. Taking to her Instagram account, the diva shared the reason behind her decision.
“A lot of people think that I’m not very personal on social media, so I decided to start a YouTube Channel to show my fans a personal side of me. I’m an introvert but also a bit of an extrovert, so I decided to show the latter side of me to people,” said Raashii, adding that she is open to change because “change is the only constant in life”.
The ‘World Famous Lover’ actor already got close to 1,000 subscribers within an hour of launching her channel. Revealing some details about herself, she said, “I love travelling and I take almost 20 flights in a week, but I hate packing. I absolutely love fashion and dressing up but the one thing I love more is staying in my pyjamas all day. Also, I am no good at doing my own makeup even after watching hundreds of makeup tutorials on YouTube. The only thing I’m good at is putting on a lipstick. Also, a lot of you must be thinking I have flawless skin but that’s not true. I put in a lot of hard work to make my skin look the best which includes homemade face masks.”
Revealing some details about her school life, Raashii said that she was bullied in her teens because she was tall, broad and quite chubby. “However, the bullying didn’t worry me because I was a brilliant student and I had a strong set of friends who I am still in touch with,” added Raashii.
Giving some tidbits about her eating habits, the actor said that she has been a vegetarian for most of her life, although she started eating eggs recently for protein. The actor also added that she hates cooking, but she isn’t a bad cook. The meal that she enjoys the most in the entire day is her breakfast. “I can eat breakfast all day!” she said in her first video on her channel.
Raashii shared that she is a very emotional person in contrast to the ‘tough nut’ that people think she is. “I love the idea of love. If you’re looking to impress me, you should know that I am very old-school and I enjoy romantic dates and love letters — that is the way to my heart,” shared Raashii with a smile.
In her YouTube channel, Raashii plans on giving fans a glimpse into behind-the-scenes moments from her shoot life and also will sing some songs for her fans. So, tune in!
