Rachakonda Police rescue two boys from child labour

Following a tip-off, the She Team along with Child Welfare Department officials reached the spot and found the minor boys in their early teens working in the battery shop and fruit stalls

Hyderabad: As part of Operation Muskan-VII drive in Rachakonda, the LB Nagar She Team rescued two minor boys who were found engaged in child labour at a battery shop and fruit stall in Chaitanyapuri on Tuesday.

Following a tip-off, the She Team along with Child Welfare Department officials reached the spot and found the minor boys in their early teens working in the battery shop and fruit stalls under hazardous and unhygienic conditions.

The two were counseled and handed over to their parents. The shop owners were counseled and warned of legal action for engaging children for work.
