Railway Protection Force celebrates 37th Raising Day in Telangana

As a part of the celebrations, RPF organised week-long plantation drives, blood donation camps, passenger awareness campaigns in trains and more.

Railway Protection Force celebrates 37th Raising Day in Telangana

Hyderabad: Railway Protection Force (RPF), South Central Railway (SCR), celebrated its 37th Raising Day on Monday. Commemorating the conferring of Armed Force status to RPF on par with other paramilitary forces, this celebration was done in all the six divisions of SCR, including two in Telangana, three in Andhra and one in Maharashtra State.

As a part of the celebrations, RPF organised week-long plantation drives, blood donation camps, passenger awareness campaigns in trains and more. RPF staff also took part in Swachchata Abhiyaan as a part of the online Swachchata Pakhwara, to promote a greener and cleaner environment.


SCR General Manager Gajanan Mallya appreciated RPF for their dedication and devotion towards duty and advised the staff to strive towards ensuring fool-proof safety and security to passengers.
