Rajendranagar police arrests Bihar man for ganja cultivation in Kismatpur
Rajendranagar police arrested a Bihar native, Surendar, for cultivating ganja in Kismatpur and selling it locally. In a separate Cyberabad case, Mithlesh was caught with heroin and cocaine. Both suspects have been handed over to police for further investigation.
Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police on Thursday arrested a Bihar native for cultivating ganja plants at a secluded place in Kismatpur and allegedly selling the weed to local consumers.
The man, Surendar, a native of Bihar, is staying at Kismatpur in Rajendranagar. On Wednesday night, some locals alerted the police on suspicion that Surendar was cultivating ganja and, after drying the leaves, selling it to local consumers.
The police took Surendar into custody and on interrogation, he admitted that he was growing the ganja plants near his rented house at Kismatpur. The police identified the ganja plants and seized them. A case is registered.
In a separate case, the Cyberabad Special Operations team caught a man and seized cocaine and heroin. The police said that the man Mithlesh, was procuring heroin and cocaine from some persons and selling to customers as well as consuming it. The police seized 4.5 grams of heroin and cocaine from him. He was handed over to Petbasheerabad police station for further action.
