Rajendranagar police solve murder case in 12 hours; Jagathgirigutta man gets lifer for assaulting daughter
Rajendranagar police swiftly solved the murder of Mohammed Minhajuddin, arresting two suspects within 12 hours of the crime. The victim was allegedly lured and killed over a property dispute by his uncle Arbaz and accomplice Suleman Khan.

Hyderabad: Rajendranagar police solved the case of the murder of a man, Mohammed Minhajuddin, reported on Wednesday morning, within 12 hours with the arrest of two suspects.
The police arrested Mohammed Arbaz alias Abbu (23) and Suleman Khan (25), both residents of Chintalmet, Attapur. A car, two mobile phones and a knife were seized from the accused.
According to the police, Minhajuddin was involved in a longstanding property dispute with his uncle Arbaz, pertaining to a land parcel at Balki in Karnataka.
“In the early hours of Wednesday, Arbaz lured Minhajuddin and took him in a car. When Arbaz was seated on the front seat, Suleman stabbed Minhajuddin repeatedly on the neck, leading to his death. The body was dumped on the road near Agriculture University and both escaped,” said DCP Rajendranagar, Ch Srinivas.
The body was noticed by local people, who alerted the police. Based on the footage recovered from the CCTV, the police tracked down Arbaz and Suleman. Both of them were arrested.
Jagathgirigutta man gets lifer for assaulting daughter
A local court convicted and sentenced a man to rigorous life imprisonment for sexually assaulting his daughter at their house in Jagathgirigutta.
The man, who worked as a centering worker, sexually assaulted the girl on multiple occasions in the absence of his wife. The girl disclosed about the sexual assault to her mother who approached the police.
A case was registered against the man and after the trial the court sentenced him to rigorous imprisonment for life and imposed a fine of Rs. 70,000 on him. The victim was awarded a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh by the court.
