Rakul Preet Singh’s brother named in two separate Narcotics cases
Hyderabad police have launched a manhunt for Aman Preet Singh, brother of Rakul Preet Singh, after his name emerged in a drug investigation. Authorities seized 43 grams of cocaine and MDMA and confirmed he is absconding in two separate cases.
Hyderabad: Special teams of the Hyderabad police have fanned out to apprehend Aman Preet Singh, brother of actress Rakul Preet Singh, after his name surfaced during a drug case.
According to the police, Aman is wanted in the drug case registered at Masab Tank police station following the arrest of two businessmen recently.
During the investigation of two businessmen, Nitin Singhania and Shranik Singhvi, from Troop Bazaar, police came to know that Aman was a regular customer.
The businessmen were arrested at Masab Tank on December 19. During questioning, the accused allegedly revealed that they were supplying narcotics to at least four regular customers. Aman Preet Singh was named as one of them, prompting investigators to widen the scope of the probe.
In the raid, police seized 43 grams of cocaine and MDMA from the arrested businessmen. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Chintamaneni Srinivas said that Aman Preet Singh is an accused in two separate drug cases. “Currently, he is absconding along with a few other suspects in the case. All efforts are being made to apprehend them at the earliest,” the DCP said.
