Hyderabad: The pre-release event for Ram Charan’s upcoming movie Game Changer was held in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, January 4. A huge crowd attended the event, where Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest.
In his speech, Ram Charan thanked fans who traveled long distances to support the event. He remembered a rally Pawan Kalyan had organised in the same city years ago and expressed his gratitude to him for attending despite his busy schedule.
Speaking about the movie’s title and expressing his love towards his uncle Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan said, “I don’t know why Shankar sir chose the name Game Changer, but it truly fits the movie. While I play a game changer on screen, the real game changer in Indian politics is Pawan Kalyan garu. It’s an honor to stand beside him and see his commitment to helping people.”
He even praised director Shankar for creating strong characters and said the film’s characters seem inspired by real-life leaders like Pawan Kalyan. Ram Charan concluded his speech by bowing to Pawan Kalyan and promising to speak more at future events.
While Pawan Kalyan stated his speech with acknowledgement, he thanked fans for their support and pledged his gratitude for the contributions of legendary figures like Raghupathi Venkayya Naidu, Dada Saheb Phalke, Sr. NTR, among others, to the Telugu cinema. He praised Megastar Chiranjeevi, calling him the foundation for both his and Ram Charan’s careers.
He also spoke highly about Shankar’s and SJ Sruya’s works. Pawan revealed that Dil Raju’s Vakeel Saab helped him financially while running his Janasena party.
Sharing a lovely bond with his brother Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan, Pawan described Charan to be a simple person who is very down to earth and considers him like a brother. Their bond and Pawan’s words about Charan was a feast to watch and hear on the stage.
