Ram Gopal Varma takes up Green India Challenge

The senior movie director accepted the nomination to participate in the Green India Challenge from journalist Swapna.

Hyderabad: Popular filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma participated in the Green Indian Challenge (GIC) initiative of Rajya Sabha, MP, J Santosh Kumar, and planted a sapling at Srinagar colony here on Sunday.

The senior movie director accepted the nomination to participate in the Green India Challenge from journalist Swapna.

Along with the Swapna, Varma visited a public park at Srinagar colony and planted the sapling today morning. Later, Swapna took to Twitter to thank Varma for participating in the novel cause and tweeted, “Thank you Ram Gopal Varma for planting a tree and contributing to Green India Challenge le by MP J Santosh Kumar.” she tweeted.
