Ramagundam police recover 142 lost and stolen mobile phones through CEIR
Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Amber Kishore Jha handed over 142 mobile phones recovered through the CEIR portal to their owners. Police said 3,717 handsets had been recovered from 10,420 complaints received through the portal so far.

Peddapalli: Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Amber Kishore Jha handed over 142 mobile phones recovered through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.
Speaking on the occasion on Tuesday, Kishore Jha advised the public to report on the portal immediately if they lose a mobile phone. He said that a special wing was established to trace the stolen and missing mobile phones. He informed that the portal saw 10,420 complaints so far. Of them, 3,717 handsets were recovered and returned to owners till now.
Additional DCP (Administration) K Srinivas, ACPs Ravinder, Praveen Kumar, Y Krishna Reddy, T Gopi, Balaji Varaprasad, IT Core Inspector Chandrashekhar Goud and Sub-Inspectors were present.
