Karimnagar: Randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) has been carried out in the run up to the October 30 by-election for Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
District Collector RV Karnan, in the presence of representatives of various political parties, has completed the randomisation process in the Collectorate conference hall here on Monday.
The Collector said the first level checking (FLC) of EVMs had already completed. Presently, they are going to hand over 469 ballot units and 85 VVPATs to the Returning Officer for the Huzurabad by-election.
On Tuesday, EVMs and VVPATs will be shifted to Huzurabad in the presence of the representatives of various political parties.
Political leaders Kalyadapu Agaiah, G Srinivas Reddy, Janapatla Swamy, and Padmakar Reddy were present.
