Hyderabad: Ranveer Singh took part in an interactive Q&A session with his followers on Instagram and revealed some fun facts about him. The ‘Padmaavat’ actor shared a ‘carfie’ in a bright Gucci tracksuit and said “Aaj mood hai… so ask me anything”.
Not too surprisingly, the first question came from his friend and filmmaker Karan Johar who asked Ranveer the secret behind his ‘hypebeast instinct’. “The frequent raids on your expansive closet. Bhagvan sab ko Karan jaisa dost de (sic),” the ‘Gully Boy’ star replied.
When a fan asked him how he manages to stay happy and positive all the time, Ranveer replied, “I count my blessings. I feel immense and often overwhelming gratitude. I try and pay kindness forward. Life is full of suffering and existence is agonising… But as Chaplin said, ‘To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it’.”
Ranveer revealed that his fashion inspiration is former basketball player Dennis Rodman, his favourite hip-hop track is American rapper The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Juicy’, his all-time favourite films are ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’ and ‘Zoolander’, and the secret behind his glowing skin is “10 litres of water”.
Speaking about his experience working with Pooja Hegde in their upcoming film ‘Cirkus’, Ranveer called it “delightful”, and added, “We are cackling like geese all day.” On why he always had a never-give-up attitude in the beginning days of his career, the ‘83’ actor revealed, “I believed in my abilities. I refused to give up on my dream. I was hungry. I was foolish. I didn’t have a plan B. It was do or die (sic).”
Ranveer also gave fans a glimpse into his breakfast routine which included nuts, oats, detox juice, immunity shots, probiotic drink, Shilajit, and Ashwagandha date ball.
On the film front, Ranveer has projects like ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ with Shalini Pandey, and ‘Cirkus’ with Pooja in the pipeline.
