Women-Only Rides: Women in Hyderabad now have another option for getting around the city, with Rapido launching its Pink Bike service, a women-only ride option where female captains cater exclusively to women passengers.
The service is aimed at making two-wheeler commuting more comfortable for women, particularly students and working professionals who may need to travel during late hours. Under Rapido Pink, rides are matched to ensure that both the captain and passenger are women.
Beyond commuting, the service also gives women an opportunity to work as bike captains with flexible hours. There are no fixed login restrictions, allowing captains to work according to their availability.
According to the launch details, women joining the platform can earn an estimated ₹400 for two hours of work and ₹800 for four hours. Captains will also receive 0% commission, allowing them to retain their full earnings from rides.
The service is also offering incentives, including a joining bonus of up to ₹5,000, along with additional daily and weekly incentives.
With its women-only captain and passenger model, Rapido Pink is positioned as both a commuting option and an earning opportunity for women in Hyderabad, combining flexible work with a transport service designed specifically for female riders.
Women interested in becoming Pink Bike captains can download the Rapido Captain app and register through the platform.
