Ra’s Metanoia, directed by Ram Alladi, has found a place in the official selection list of Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2021. Ra’s Metanoia is based on the life story of Father of the Nation MK Gandhi with a combination of facts and fiction while incorporating quantum mechanics and the film has a non-linear screenplay.
A native of Telangana, techie-turned filmmaker Ram Alladi, who got settled in New York, has been making several independent films and Chiseled is one among them which has been receiving laurels. Adding to the list, Ra’s Metanoia is another feather in the cap as it has been bagging a series of awards in almost every film festival it has attended.

The award-winning director has another interesting project in the pipeline, titled Nabhamsi. Majorly shot in the US, the Sanskrit language film showcases the different dance forms and the cultures that prevailed a thousand years ago in India.
The conversations and the dialogues in Nabhamsi will be in Sanskrit and English. The director says he could narrate the story with deeper emotions and since the subject is universal, he is confident that the film would catch the attention of wider audiences cutting across regions and culture.
