Rashid Khan in Tom Moody’s IPL XI

Hyderabad: Former Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody picked his best playing XI. However, only Rashid Khan has made it to the team from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sunrisers had a memorable campaign reaching Qualifier 2. Despite not starting well, they got their act together and won three important matches against RCB, DC and MI to make it to play-offs. They knocked out RCB in Eliminator before doing down to DC in Qualifier 2.
Moody went with in-form Shikhar Dhawan, who scored back-to-back centuries in the tournament and current orange-cap holder KL Rahul as openers while MI’s consistent Suryakumar Yadav will be at the third position. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s AB de Villiers, at No.4, comprises his top order. The middle-order has explosive batsmen in Ishan Kishan and the tournament’s new darling Rahul Tewatia from Rajasthan Royals. Rashid Khan, who has been impressive with an economy less than six in the tournament along with Yuzvendra Chahal forms the spin department.
