Rashly driven Swift Dzire car hits Harley Davidson bike in Hyderabad; two youths killed

Hyderabad: Two youths were killed after a rashly driven car went out of control and ran into their motorcycle near Paradise junction in Secunderabad on Wednesday morning.
The victims were identified as Y Harshith (20) from Babu Jagjeevan Ram Nagar in Bhoiguda and his friend Devi Pranay (18) of Chacha Nehru Nagar, both working for a pest control firm in Marredpally.
The duo started from their office after the day’s work on Harshith’s Harley Davidson motorcycle and went to have tea near Paradise Hotel before going to their homes, when the incident occurred in the wee hours.
According to the police, the duo had tea and while returning from SD Road towards Bansilalpet, a Swift Dzire which was proceeding from Jubilee Bus Station towards Paradise junction went out of control and crashed into their bike.
Both fell on the road and suffered grievous injuries. While Pranay died on the spot, Harshith was declared brought dead by the doctors at a nearby hospital.
The Mahankali police booked a case of negligence causing death and injuries and are investigating. The car driver was detained.
