Karimnagar: Movie critic and secretary of Federation of Film Societies of India (southern region) Ponnam Ravichandra has been selected as jury member for the MDOC Melgaco International Documentary Film Festival. The week-long documentary film festival will be held in Portugal from August 1 to 7.
International Federation of Film societies (IFFS) jury coordinator Atle Hunnes Isaksen selected Ravichandra. Besides Ravichandra, two others including Ana Margarida Carvalho from Portugal and Manuela Lucchesu from Italy have also been selected as jury members for the International documentary film festival.
Ravichandra thanked Atle Hunnes Isaksen, FFI southern region vice-president N Shashedhar and secretary BSS Prakash Reddy, and eastern region vice-president Premendra for helping in his selection as jury member for the international documentary film festival.
