Hyderabad: Starring actors Meghana Raj and Ragini Dwivedi in lead roles, upcoming movie ‘Real Dandupalyam’ will have a grand release in theatres on February 4. Directed by Mahesh, the movie is about the ordeals faced by women in the present-day patriarchal society. In presentation of Rama Nayak, the movie is being produced by C Puttaswamy under the banner Sri Vaishno Devi
Speaking during a press meet here in the city, producer Puttaswamcy said the movie reflects the present-day problems faced by women and the story would completely be different from earlier films that came under ‘Dandupalyam’.
The female lead Ragini said the role she played in the film has given her immense satisfaction. “I am excited because this my first Telugu project. Everyone in the entire unit showed utmost dedication toward the project and worked for the desired output. Based on several real incidents, the film is presented in a very realistic manner. Compared to all the earlier films of ‘Dandupalyam’, our ‘Real Dandupalyam’ will surely enthrall audiences,” she added.
Speaking on the occasion, Malavath Purna, the youngest mountaineer who scaled Mt. Everest, said,”I scaled Mt. Everest to prove that women are no less than men in any endeavour, or say any field. With grit and determination, a woman can achieve anything. This film portrays how women can thwart the atrocities faced by them in the society.”
