Real estate businessman murdered in Vemulawada, land dispute suspected
A real estate businessman, Sirigiri Ramesh, was found murdered near Vemulawada temple town in Rajanna-Sircilla district. His throat was slit, and police suspect a land dispute. One accused, Venkatesh, is reported to have surrendered to the police.
Rajanna Sircilla: A real-estate business person from Sircilla, Sirigiri Ramesh was murdered. Unknown persons killed him by slitting his throat. His body was found in a car near Nandikaman in the outskirts of Vemulawada temple town on Saturday.
Though the exact reason is not yet known, land disputes are said to be the reason for the murder of the realtor. Knowing about the incident, police rushed the spot and began investigation by registering the case.
Body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. It is learnt that one of the accused Venkatesh reportedly surrendered before the police.
